In all seriousness, though, I'm disappointed at the lack of such luminaries as Bea Arthur. But she was honored during the Emmys, so I can't complain, I guess. But watching that weird dance number and having lots of our recently passed friends not being shown just feels wrong.
11:01 - And Farrah Fawcett was left out of the Oscar In Memoriam montage. Once again, her death was upstaged by freaking Michal Jackson.

I think it was *theoretically* funnier with the two comedians doing the Horror intro. My only issue was I thought it was real and yelled for Jim to come watch and he was rather annoyed with the stupidity of it...until the real one came on...now he's making pissy comments at the screen and stuff...I should have just kept quiet. ;-)

Just read about the blue dresses......Mo chose her dress color based on the color gown worn by Hattie McDaniels back in the day....I think that's why she and Gabby AND Oprah all did the same color. Anyhow, nice job with the play by play, Peter Pope! I wish I could have posted more but my kid kept getting up and bugging me. :) Next year, you must get a tux on and live chat.
thought molly ringwald was nearly unrecognizable. i missed farrah, too. thought mo's reference to hattie mcdaniel was wonderful and the reference by the first female to win director (sorry son, can't remember her name) to soldiers everywhere, while nice, was predictable.
ps, sandie's speech was great.
